The iPad has opened the flood gates for tablet PCs and therefore it has an advantage of being the first major brand, but that doesn't make other tablet types in the race insignificant. In fact Windows and Android based tablets are offering stiff competition and there are others like Web OS, and Linux also in the race. Android was tried and tested in mobile phones and is looked upon as a potential candidate for the top slot. What's the scope of Windows?
